Top model circular presentation using the mask

Create a cool top model circular presentation using the mask. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. You can use this presentation for any flash banner, header... Let's go!



Step 1

First of all, save a photo of top model below, which we will use for this lesson!




Step 2

Open a new Flash document (File > New > Flash Document). Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 323 pixels and the height to 335 pixels (as the dimensions of photo). Select white color as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 36 and click ok. See the picture below!



Step 3

Choose now, file > Import > Import to stage (Shortcut key: Ctrl+R) and import a photo into a flash stage!

Step 4

While the photo is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:

1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and
3. Click the Align vertical center button.



Step 5

While the photo is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this photo into a Movie Clip Symbol.



Step 6

Click now on frame 20 and press F6 key. While you're still on frame 20, press F6 key six times. See the picture below!



Step 7

Go back now on frame 21 and press delete key on the keyboard. After that, do that also for frame 23 and 25.

Step 8

Go back now on frame 1 and open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3). Then, choose the following options:



Step 9

While you're still on frame 1, take the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the photo to select it. Then, go again to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Advanced on it, click on Settings button set the following options and click ok.



Step 10

Click now on frame 80 and 100 and press F6 key. While you're still on frame 10, repeat step 9.

Step 11

Go back now on frame 80 and repeat step 8.

Step 12

Double click now on layer 1 with the Selection Tool (V), to rename its name into a photo. After that, create a new layer above the layer photo and name it circle.

Step 13

Select now the circle layer, take the Oval Tool (O), for stroke color choose red, for fill color any color, and draw a circle over the photo. See the picture below!

Step 14

Select now the circle and aligned it with the background (See step 4).

Step 15

Select now circle area layer again, and convert it to a mask by right-clicking on the circle area layer and selecting Mask. See the picture below!



We're done now!
