Using this simple lesson, you will learn how to apply vanishing effect on any picture. To create this lesson, we have to use flash filter. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. Let's go!

Step 1
Find any picture on internet or somewhere which you like to use for this lesson.
Step 2
Open a new flash document.
Step 3
Press Ctrl+J key (Document Properties) and set your dimensions at whatever you want, set the background color as whatever you like. For flash movie's frame rate set 32 and click ok.

Step 4
Choose File > Import > Import to Stage (Shortcut key: Ctrl+R) and Import the picture which you want to use for this example.
Step 5
While the picture is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert that picture into a Movie Clip Symbol. See the picture below.

Step 6
Click on frame 20,30,40,45 and 50 and press F6 key.
Step 7
Go back on frame 30, take the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the picture to select it. After that, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage and click on Filters tab. After that, click on the plus icon and select Adjust Color filter. Then, make the adjustements as follows:
1. Brightness: 100 2. Contrast : 59

Step 8
Click on frame 40 and take again the Selection Tool (V). Then, repeat the previous step, but for this time, make this adjustements:
1. Brightness: 100 2. Contrast : 89 3.Saturation:-43 4.Hue:-123

Repeat this step also for frame 45.
Step 9
Right-click anywhere on the gray area between the frame 20 and frame 30, frame 30 and 40 frame 40 and 45 and frame 45 and 55 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears. See the picture below.

Test Your Movie (Ctrl+Enter).
