Macromedia flash seems like a very complicated programs to learn.One reason why it looks that is that you can use it for so many different things, such as header, banners, animations, special effects.....

This tutorial is for peoples  who opening flash for the first time.This tutorials will show you some of the fundamental aspects of Macromedia Flash, and how to get Started.
You don't have to know anything about this program to create this tutorials.This tutorials is designed for beginners who have no experience of using Flash. They will give you a foundations for further development.

Lets go!

To create this tutorial you'll need to use flash 8. This tutorial will teach you how to apply a glow effect on some object.

Step 1

Open flash and click on Modify > Document (Ctrl+J).





Step 2

Then in Document Properties window set width to 250 and Height to 70px. Look at the picture below!



Step 3

Take the Text Tool (T), under Fill Color choose black and type some text on the stage.







Step 4

While your text is still selected, click on Modify > Convert to Symbol (F8).



Step 5

In Convert to Symbol window under Type: choose Movie Clip, name whatever you like and press ok.



Step 6

After that click on Windows > Properties > Properties (Ctrl+F3).



Step 7

In the Properties Panel click on Filters, and after that on Add filter icon and choose Glow. Look at the picture below!





Step 8

After that set the options from the picture below!



Step 9

Finally, you'll need to get something like this:
