This tutorial will show you how to create full daybreak animation.You will also learn how to design daybreak, and after that, how to animate it.  



Step 1

Create a new flash document, press Ctrl+J on the keyboard (Document Properties), or choose Modify > Document and set the options from the picture below!





Step 2

Double click on layer1 to rename its name into a background.

Step 3

After that take the Rectangle Tool (R), under Fill color choose #333333, Stroke Color must be switched off and do like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 4

Select after that the background that you have just created and press F8 on the keyboard (Convert to Symbol) to convet it into a Movie Clip.



Step 5

Insert a new layer and name it Island.

Step 6

After that, take the Oval Tool (O), and draw "Island" like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 7

Select the "Island" and press F8 on the keyboard (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip.

Step 8

Insert a new layer and name it "palm".

Step 9

After that draw a "palm", like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 10

Select the "palm" that you have just created and press F8 on the keyboard (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip.

Step 11

Insert a new layer and name it sun.

Step 12

Using drag and drop technique move the sun layer beneath the Island layer. Look at the picture below!



Step 13

After that draw a "sun" and set it in the position like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 14

Select the "sun", and press F8 on the keyboard (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip.

Step 15

Click on the sixtieth frame of layer background and press F6 (Keyfame).

Step 16

After that select the background, open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3), and under Color choose Tint and set the options from the picture below!



Step 17

Click on the first frame of layer background and in the Properties Panel under Tween choose Motion.



Step 18

Click on the sixtieth frame of layer sun and press F6 (Keyfame).

Step 19

After that set the "sun" in the position like it is shown on the picture below.



Step 20

Click on the first frame of layer sun and in the Properties Panel under Tween choose Motion.

Step 21

Click on the sixtieth frame of layer Island and press F6 (Keyfame).

Step 22

While you're "Island" is still selected in the Properties Panel under Color choose Tint and set the options from the picture below!



Step 23

Click on the first frame of layer Island and in the Properties Panel under Tween choose Motion.

Step 24

Click on the sixtieth frame of layer Palm and press F6 (Keyfame).

Step 25

While your "Palm" is still selected, in the Properties Panel under Color choose Tint and set the color which you like.

Step 26

Click on the first frame of layer palm and in the Properties Panel under Tween choose Motion.

Step 27

Go back on the sixtieth frame of layer palm, open the Action Script Panel (F9) and paste this script to stop the animation:

stop();

Test your movie (Ctrl+Enter).
